DESCRIPTION:“Thousands of firefighters volunteer every year to collect money in their boots during the annual Firefighters “Fill the Boot for Burns” Boot Drive fundraisers for the Firefighters Burn Institute. Donations are used to improve burn treatment and to fund life-altering burn recovery programs\, including Firefighters Kids Camp for young burn survivors and the Little Heroes Preschool Burn Camp. In 2019\, our goal is to raise one half million dollars to support burn programs and regional burn centers. We are confident that with the help of fire agencies who have already stepped forward and made commitments to hold Boot Drives in 2018\, we can meet this challenge. See how much we raised in 2018!” – FFBI Website \nThe Firefighters Burn Institute’s 25th Annual Fill the Boot for Burns Drive is February 7-10\, 2019.
