A message from Sunrise MarketPlace

Our thoughts are with all those who’ve been impacted by the Coronavirus. SMP is monitoring information as it becomes available to determine the safest course of action for residents, visitors, and businesses in the Sunrise MarketPlace District. We are in close contact with city, county, and state officials. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are following the County and Statewide shelter in place order, and have temporarily closed our office to protect and care for those who work with us and the public.
Many businesses have temporarily decided to close or alter their operating hours significantly. Business owners are taking into account the tremendous impacts – physical, emotional, and financial these decisions have on their workers and families. Please look for future correspondence on our website and Facebook page in the days and weeks ahead of ways to show your support for the business community. Please remember that behind the businesses are incredibly hard-working people that contribute immeasurably to our community.  Please support businesses safely if you can through curbside pickup, takeout and delivery   Sales tax revenue provides funding for local services including first responders.  This revenue is vitally important to the city of Citrus Heights as they don’t currently receive property tax revenue.

We will continue to provide information and clear communication as decisions on both business operations and the status of events are made. We have created a COVID-19 resource page for the community, businesses, residents, and visitors alike. We will continue to update it daily (and hourly) as needed.
