Hands-On E-Bike Rider Training with the Citrus Heights Police Department

The Citrus Heights Police Department is hosting a FREE Hands-On E-Bike Rider Training designed to help young riders build confidence, improve their riding skills, and learn how to safely share the road.

This interactive training provides participants with practical instruction on e-bike operation, traffic laws, safety equipment, and defensive riding techniques. Whether you’re new to riding or looking to sharpen your skills, this course is a great opportunity to learn directly from public safety professionals.

Event Details

  • Date: Saturday, July 25
  • Location: Mesa Verde High School
  • Session 1: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Session 2: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Ages: 10–18
  • Cost: Free (Registration required – space is limited)

Participants Should Bring:

  • Their own e-bike
  • A properly fitted helmet
  • A parent or guardian (required to attend)

During the training, riders will learn:

  • Essential e-bike safety and protective gear
  • Hands-on riding skills and bike handling
  • Rules of the road and traffic safety
  • Smart riding habits to help prevent crashes and injuries

This free community event is presented in partnership with the Citrus Heights Police Department, San Juan Unified School District, VoltVerified, California eBikes, SUPER73, and the Citrus Heights Police Bike Unit.
